  This is the best bank in town. I have literally 8 accounts there. 10/10 recommend!

  I came in to cash a check, that one of their account holders gave me and was treated like I stole the check. BOA, Wells Fargo nor VyStar makes a copy of their non account holders ID. The bank refused to cash it and said they can only give me a cashier check. When I asked her why she said we just have to. When asked can I see it in your policy or can you show me on your website, I was told its just their policy. Then they said well we have to call to verify the check. I'm 100% sure if I was a white female, (which one came in different world) they would have cashed my check and not treated me like I didn't have any rights to the check.

  Cogent Bank in Jacksonville, and specifically commercial specialist Phil Bravo worked tirelessly and quickly, even over the weekend, on my PPP loan application. I have no doubt that with any kind of service, especially for small businesses locally, that will excell at whatever you need them to do for you. This is an unsolicited recommendation and I receive nothing for it. I just want everyone to know what a great locally owned business this is.
