  Pretty sure I just experience discrimination and the utmost unprofessionalism around 11:35 this morning. 100% DO NOT recommend this bank as some of it's associates don't know to speak to customers..especially Military customers. I bring in BBVA check (PNC & BBVA Merged) written by my Real Estate Brokerage. I do not bank with this bank, so I had to give 2 forms of ID and agree to the 2.5% fee to cash the check. Well after waiting for about 15 minutes, a total of 3 women are standing in front of me. I ask if there is a problem, I was told the account numbers were different because of the new banks system so they needed to do a few extra steps. The 3rd lady who seemed to be the bank manager picks up the phone to call someone. She hands up and says " They didn't answer". I then ask a second time, is there an issue? She says " Well, we tried to call your brokerage but they didn't pick up and we need to speak with the check writer...(yes i'm confused at this point but I proceed to comply). I repeated "the person who wrote the check?", they all said yes as i'm on the phone with my brokerage trying to get resolve. I ended up calling the wrong admin, and the person I needed wasn't in the office. I ask the lady who I assume to be the manger a question. ***Quoted verbatim "Just our of curiosity and for clarity, you need to speak to the check writer for verification of funds and not the bank the check is in??*** She immediately got snobby with me with the most inhuman tone and said "Well It's not a verification, we just have a few questions before we can cash the check".. My response was : ohhh so this is a security issue not a verification of funds issue???...(keep in mind they told me there was no problem at all several times) They said yes, we have questions that we can't disclose to you (I'm totally okay with this by the way). But my issue in the tone and way this lady was speaking to me had me completely appalled. She storms off after she see's I'm clearly annoyed.. but instead of showing my annoyance, I proceeded to thank the first two ladies for their professionalism and kindness and ask for my check & ID back and tell them I'll go deposit into my main bank, Navy Federal.

  We went to the ft Walton Branch this past Saturday,we tried to open an account and was told that we had to have aside from identification,a passport,a credit card,or bank card.sense when is a passport needed? And a Bank card,he had his check from his employer and they flat out refused. She was very rude,and let us know real quick that we could not open an account.

  No complaints. Friendly staff. Open Saturdays. ATM gives bill choices and you can use your tap to pay at the ATM too. Great mobile app with Zelle and card lock too.
