I called to verify that they not only had safety deposit box options, but that you didn’t have to have an account to get one. Confirmed there was an annual fee, depending on the size. My husband then went in person and they said no, that is not the correct information, and you do have to have a checking account (which they would be happy to open of course)- very disappointed, as I specifically verified beforehand since we are on a time crunch.

I had my business account for less than a year and $600 was stolen from my account. I went into this location 4 times for help. The first time the banker helped and told me if I found any more unauthorized charges to come back in. I found one small charge that I never noticed from a few months ago. I went back in person 3 times asking for help and guidance and they made me wait every time just for someone who doesn't do business banking to tell me to get an appointment (apparently none were available for a week out) or just call the number on the card. There was never anyone that works with business accounts available... When I reported the small charge we had missed (via phone), PNC said that because it was outside the 60 days, they were taking back the $600 they credited back to my account and I would not be getting any of the $600 back. I spent hours on the phone with PNC and Hours waiting for help from them in person and the only guidance I got from this branch was to personally call the business my card was charged to on the other side of the country and beg for my money back. (The business laughed at me and hung up) I am so beyond disgusted by this branch and PNC. They said they were not aware of the fine print that meant PNC would only help with the first unauthorized charge, and not the bulk of the stolen money from the last few weeks. This leads me to believe they either don't know their own fine print and therefore should not be advising people on their banking needs or they did know the fine print and cheated a small business owner who works out of her living room after her child goes to sleep out of a third of her account. I have closed my account and do not recommend doing business banking at PNC.

I’ve been banking with PNC for nearly 16 years, maybe longer, and today was hands-down one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had, specifically at the Clermont branch. I brought my 12-year-old daughter in to exchange a small amount of foreign currency. One teller confidently told me there was a $100 minimum to exchange. A second teller immediately contradicted that and said the fee was $250. So which is it? The real issue isn’t the amount or the policy, it’s the complete lack of knowledge and consistency. Staff were citing “policy” without actually knowing what the policy is. Guessing and speculating while presenting it as fact is not acceptable, especially from a bank. After nearly two decades as a customer, I expect competence, clarity, and professionalism. Today I got none of the above. Very disappointing experience at this branch.

This place is awful. Customer service is terrible. No one is ever available to help you and they’ll tell you to sit and wait but never bother to mention the wait is over an hour. When you do see someone they have no answers to your questions. They make banking difficult here. Anything you want to do is so complicated. Stick with credit unions and online banks!

Worst bank ever don’t even bother going here we’ve come to a day and age when you can’t even put cash in your kids accounts anymore and this bank thinks your money is there and always asks what you need your money withdrawn for.
