- MSmark SimpsonFeb 20, 20263.0They have lost their competitive edge somewhat. I feel they took the rug from underneath me in terms of the savings so after careful thought I've decided to not necessarily close the account but move pretty much 99% of my funds out over to everbank which has a 3.9 rate with no minimum balance to get that rate compared to a 2.4 rate at flagstar. I dropped down to the 2.4 rate from the higher performance rate without even really knowing it. I know the rates are dropping but to get a 2.4 on a HYSA is ridiculous. There are other brick and mortars out there that do better. I still have a CD with flagstar and will probably reevaluate them when the CD matures

- MMMorganSep 19, 20251.0the absolute worst bank/ branch of a bank ever. The assistant manager is horrible and rude, I have made multiple complaints about her and yet no one seems to care. Me and my sister couldn't even access our own money from our accounts !!! can you imagine, thank god we use another smart bank so we can actually use whatever balance we want that day. I also have tried calling to rush the hold that is ALWAYS put on my card for absolutely not reason and the "manager" will give you another number to call because she has no access.... then you call the number to the bank that states is available pre their agreement and you get a call center LOL no this place is a joke, please do yourself a favor and bank anywhere else. Holding your own money and putting limits on how much you can spend plus not being able to call and speak with someone who can assist... idk how this place Is even open
