  Their new motto should be “don’t call us, we’ll call you…..maybe”. I’ve been a client since my 2021 taxes. I had a wonderful relationship with Kristin and I was happy to support the changes last year of dropping off my records a week in advance of the appointment - makes total sense. This year I was completely caught by surprise when learning of more changes - you cannot make an appointment. You must first drop off or upload your records, then, they will review and call you to make the appointment, except they don’t. After 3 weeks and multiple phone calls to them I was finally able to get an appointment and they slipped in the fact that it would be with an “assigned” professional. I explained that I didn’t want anyone but Kristin whom I’d built a relationship with of these past years - my taxes are very personal to me. When I arrived, I was placed with an “assigned” professional whom I’d never met. I’m sure he’s competent but I do not know him. If I wanted to get my taxes done by someone I’d never met, I would go to H&R Block. It’s a shame they have made these changes, it’s not about what you need (and pay handsomely for) as a client it’s about pushing their new business model. This is not the experience I want and I am no longer a client.

  Wouldn't recommend. They've had my paperwork for over a month and i can't even get my tax prep guy, Nick on the phone. When i call i can only speak to a rather rude receptionist who will not guarantee that my phone call will even be returned in a timely manner and cant give any sort of update when my taxes will be worked on, let alone finished. Now im up against the deadline, having to find another preparer, and when i requested my paperwork returned, the best she could say is "I'll get Nick a message". I was very clear about my situation when i first contacted them. You cant go in the office as they are by appt only. So you are just at their mercy, whenever they feel like getting around to your file. I have very simple bookkeeping. It shouldn't be this hard to get some results. Edit: ABandT were nice enough to give my docs back. I took them across the street to Jackson Hewitt. The signed me in in ten minutes and guaranteed everything done by Sunday. Edit: yes when I dropped off my documents over a month ago they were incomplete. You asked me to retrieve a depreciation schedule from my previous preparer which i did, right away. That was the only request you made for additional documentation for that tax year. The ONLY communication that EVER occured was initiated by me. Not a good policy to blame your customers for your shortcomings.

  Prices have doubled sinceson took over company , moving on many more to choose from at better prices new owner not a people person a real chip on shoulders not going to be in business much longer

  We just did our taxes here. The experience was great. Kristin was amazing. From beginning to end she explained everything in a way that we could understand. Genesis in the front desk was so sweet too. I would recommend to everyone.

  Rude and made u feel like a number . Wasn’t like that when we first filed with them . It was almost a black and white feelin. Will not recommend.
