- CQConsumer QJul 16, 20251.0My son went to open a checking account and was told he was rejected, but they wouldn't tell him why. They said it would be about 7 business days until he got a letter in the mail with the explanation why. Well, he got the letter, and it just said he was rejected. I called the bank after he got home on the day he went in to open the checking account, and the woman had no clue what to do, and she was the one who waited on him. I asked to talk to the branch manager, and she said he was on vacation. I then asked to talk to the person next in charge that was filling in for him. She said nobody was filling in for him. This branch manager left on vacation with no instructions for his employees as to who is filling in for him or who to call if they have questions regarding assisting a customer. It seems the CORPORATE OFFICE should pay a visit to this branch to see how it is being managed. My branch that I go to will call corporate or another branch to get answers and get you taken care of while you are still at the bank. I asked the woman to have the branch manager call me on Monday when he got back, so she took my contact information, and he never called back!!!!
