In July 2006, a group of local business people started this bank to serve the needs of people in our community. The bank started in an old gas station in Lewes but soon opened a new headquarters building on RT 1 in Lewes. In 2007, a Rehoboth location on RT 1 opened.
Today the bank has grown to over $250 million in assets and serves clients throughout Sussex County with both business and consumer banking products. It is governed by an 11 member Board of Directors.
Customers generally enjoyed the food, noting it was fresh and tasty, although there were some complaints about specific items being cold or not prepared correctly.
