- NMNicholas MorelandJan 23, 20261.0Absolutely horrible experience with this bank! Do not bank with this branch! I have been trying to close a bank account for over a month and they still have not closed my account while negative interest and overdraft fees are piling up. I called on the phone, brought my account balance to zero, and was told they would close it way back on January 6th. They never closed it and now I have almost negative $100 in my account for a situation that was absolutely caused by their negligence. When I call they say that no one can help me at the moment and that they will call me back. Twice they said this and never called back. I even went in person and they said no one was there who can close my account. I have never had such a frustrating customer experience situation for such a simple task. I refuse to pay the price for their mistakes and they are impossible to get a hold of to actually fix the issue. While they are ignoring my requests, my negative balance is growing and no solutions are in sight. Their lack of urgency and professionalism is a huge frustration. It shouldn’t take multiple in person visits and 5 phone calls over a month period to close a bank account. Horrible response to a simple ask. This is unacceptable!

All I hear is what they “CAN’T” do or that general processes will take double the time of every other bank in town. After today’s ridiculous interaction, I’m closing out my account with them and moving that six figures to one of the more customer service oriented banks on the same strip of Connecticut Ave.
