  We bought a Business and some how we were forced to keep on the old owners /they were great friends to the loan officer/..Yes forced /we had plenty of money to put down but we had to have a second mortgage? All these years I was set up for losing the Business.. The old owners harassed me the loan officer was always looking into my account!! During Covid No help we were New to the area … but never imagined the hell we’d go though from the pior owners !!! For 3 years I ran it made improvements and the Candy the business would give out we got once !!! I never was late on payments I never asked for anything!!! During the pandemic I figured it all out on my own /actually. Helped my friends get assistance they needed ! I know for facts the loan officer by the way Hates his job /wanted and hoped we would fail !!! Well we did not !! I sold the Business !! The best feeling ever no more cameras watching me no bank officers in my account!!! I might have been set up for failure but Didn’t!!!!I learned from this experience and Never would recommend or deal with this Bank ever again!!!Always felt like the Bank was never supportive !! The loan officer made sure the prior owners even got a great rate !!!! during Covid it was as if they’ wanted you to lose your business!!! Our loan officer did absolutely nothing for us !!! Just went into my account as he felt like it !! He knew when we had a good night and when we had a bad night !!! I learned quick not to trust anyone especially when I found out all the cameras were in everything I did and said !!! I knew nothing about Business nothing it took me years to figure out a lot of stuff but in the end I did it all !!! Sadly my husband’s diagnosis with Cancer changed everything and I had to put him first and for most !!!

  I had to call the bank today regarding fraudulent charges on my debit card. Natalie answered the phone and took care of my situation fast and efficiently. She was knowledgeable, polite, professional and took the time to explain what steps needed to be taken to rectify my situation. She then emailed the forms to me that also explained what needed to be done. I'm impressed that she took the time to also explain over the phone and not just send off an email. That was going above and beyond what she needed to do. It is always nice to speak to someone who makes you feel at ease, especially when they are dealing with your money. Great job to Natallie!!!!

  Our experience with Del Norte Bank is as sellers of a home that the buyers purchased through Del Norte Bank. As we worked through the process it became clear that the bank is really only interested in lending money on homes that it can immediately peddle to the secondary mortgage market. Throughout the process their communications were on the verge of rude and demanding. Each and every time they brought something up to take offense to it was something which we had ALREADY offered documentation on and in the one case where that wasn't the case, we had the documentation requested within a days time. Their obstinance to lending on our home to the new buyers was very much like climbing a mountain. In the end we accepted that the appraiser they had hired tried to ruin the sale by grossly undervaluing our property and decided to sell at an agreed upon price with the buyers that was in excess of the appraisal. In point of fact they cost us thousands of dollars and an incredible amount of time jumping through hoops. And we decided we would rather our buyers got the house and we lost some money rather than acquiesce to their desired outcome. I wouldn't use this bank if they had the last dollar available and I had a golden ticket guaranteeing free interest.
