Plumas Bank is a locally managed, full-service award-winning community bank founded in 1980. Tahoe City California is nestled between Lake Tahoe's Carnelian Bay and Sunnyside communities at the head of the Truckee River. Down the road from the famous Mountain Meadows and Squaw Valley ski resorts, the community hosts four-season tourism, outdoor recreation, hospitality, retail and several local businesses. Plumas Bank established a branch office in 2003. In April 2020, the bank moved to a new building and now offers a community meeting space with a conference room and coffee bar in addition to personal and business banking services.
