Helpful staff, but BBVA only offers basic banking services on sub-par conditions and they make even those complicated. It feels like their primary business is not public clients

Horrible experience. I've had an account here for a while. One day, while trying to use my card it didn't work. The next day I call them and they tell me that my account had been closed. They didn't know why or tell me why it had been closed. They did not send me any letter, didn't bother calling me or emailing me. And my money? where is it? I don't know. Disappeared. Oh, and the best thing is trying to get in contact with someone. No one answers, even in the morning, and their headquarter offices close at 2pm. So you have to leave a voicemail. But then nobody ever calls you back, ever. Next time I'll double check who I'm leaving my money with, not these criminals!
