  Went to pay mortgage. Women in hijab correctly paid the full payment as requested and incorrectly applied the second payment as another regular payment. I was clear in wanting the second amount to be a principal payment only. She confirmed she did that, however my statement came back at end of month and found out she made a second regular payment which resulted in the money sitting in unapplied funds for weeks. I then had to call PNC to investigate how I could correct this. Teach your employees how to correctly apply PRINCIPAL ONLY payments.

  I went in there to cash a check and was told that they could not cash the check, but would not give me a reason. I went back twice to the bank and was told the same thing, So I went to California check cashing where they cashed my check no problem and informed me that it was because I didn’t have a bank account with PNC and the check was too large. So why couldn’t the manager just have told me that? I had to have my friend give me two rides on two different occasions; My lawyer, who got the settlement for me was very confused as was I. They looked at me like I was some sort of criminal because the check wouldn’t cash, But it was from a big company so it did get cashed, but I had to go else where and pay a $350 fee. I’m just super disappointed that the bank manager couldn’t have said well if you open Up an account, we should be able to cash it. Which is what his representative was trying to say to me, But she was interrupted and they just checked to see if the check would go through Again and it didn’t. They said it was a bad check, but it wasn’t.

  Don't go there. Most horrible bank for banking anywhere. Charge you fees whenever they can for whatever reason they can. Customer service is atrocious, and since they took over BBVA, I was without access to my business banking for 3 weeks. Run Fast the other direction.
