- GAGlen AndersonJun 13, 20201.0I had home equity line of credit for many years. I paid it off early. I asked BBVA to close the loan and they never did. Months later I got a bill for $50 which they called was an assessment fee. I called two more times over the last few weeks and asked them to close the account. They told me I would have a letter mailed to me and emailed to me within days and it's now been 3 weeks. They reversed the bogus assessment fee but they are still not closing the account. These people are crooks don't do business with them!
