- SLSl LoshabJan 20, 20251.0I am extremely disappointed with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). My email was hacked, and all my e-transfers were auto-deposited into someone else’s RBC account. Shockingly, RBC didn’t detect or flag any suspicious activity. I had to discover the issue myself and report it to them. Only then did they confirm that my account had been hacked. What’s worse is that RBC refused to take responsibility for their negligence. Despite it being their system that allowed this to happen, they did not refund my lost money. As a business owner, this is unacceptable. I trusted RBC to safeguard my funds, but they failed miserably. I cannot recommend RBC to anyone, especially for business banking. Their lack of response, accountability, and proper security measures is appalling. I am now in the process of switching my business account to another bank. If you value your money and peace of mind, do not trust RBC.
