I had my direct deposit set up with this bank, and they froze my deposit without a single phone call, text, or email. I had to reach out myself to even find out what was happening. I spoke with a representative named Desiree, who knew my situation and understood that the freeze was putting me in a dangerous position because I rely on critical medication. She assured me she would help — then simply never showed up for our scheduled meeting. No call. No update. Nothing.
When I went into the branch, the staff casually informed me she just didn’t come in, and they actually found the whole situation nonchalant. Meanwhile, I had been left without access to my own money, without medication, and in a medically unsafe situation because of their negligence.
The branch manager, Heidi Taal, completely dismissed me, minimized the seriousness of the situation, and acted as if the lack of communication and disregard for my health, my time, and my money didn’t matter at all.
I have never experienced anything so alarming, unprofessional, or reckless from a financial institution. Their behavior put my health at risk, and their attitude showed zero accountability.
I will be filing a formal complaint and pursuing legal action.
Again: Do NOT bank with this corporation. Protect yourself and your money.

PUT $2,690.00 IN ATM DRIVE TRHU. $490.00 CAME BACK OUT. ATM WAS CONFIGURING I GUESS. THEN WHEN FINISHED DID SAY WHY FUNDS WAS RETURNED LIKE BAD BILLS, NOTHING. SO USED ATM CARD AGAIN, DO NOT SEE ANY OF MY MONEY BEING DEPOSITED ON RECEIPT. I THOUGHT MAYBE BECAUSE IT WAS NIGHT TIME AND WILL BE AVAILBE THE NEXT DAY. NO IT WASN'T. CALLED BANK AND THEY DID SEE IF BEING DEPOSITED. BY THIS TIME I AM UPSET. SAID THEY WILL BE FILING A FRAUD ALERT. OK THAT FINE BUT THEN SAID IT WILL TAKE UP TO 10 DAYS. I GO TO THE BANK I DEPOSTED MONEY AT WHICH IS THE BANK IN MURRIETA CA OFF CAL OAKS. THEY LADY HAD NERVED TO TELL ME THAT THE ATM I PUT MY MONEY IN IS A 3RD PARTY ATM AND THEY ARE NOT CONNECTED WITH THEM. I TOLD HER I DO NOT HAVE MONEY TO GIVE AWAY AND THEY NEED TO FIND MY MONEY. WHEN MY MONEY IS RETURNED, I WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCOUNT OUT.

This is the worse bank I've ever dealt with. They take no responsibility for their actions, and have no problem hanging their customers out to dry. 2 months ago I tried closing an account that had fraudulent activity. Over the last 2 months they've given me every excuse in the book about why they can't close the account. Now this account is $800 overdrawn. My other account with them has my direct deposit. I got paid today and went to withdrawal $1000 so I could open an account elsewhere. The ATM did not dispense the money, yet it took the money out of my account. PNC says they'll dispute the transaction, but because it's pending there's nothing else they can do. So because their machine didn't work I'm down to $5 to my name for God knows how long. They don't care, it's not their problem. The customer service and overall experience is disgusting.

I would highly recommend to STAY AWAY from PNC. They have wonderful people in their branches, but the corporate suits running PNC Bank are complete morons with no consideration for their clients. I am having to move multiple business and personal accounts away from them after only 30 days working with PNC. Run quickly and find a local bank that cares about the individual and business community.
