Subject I am writing to formally notify you that I am in the process of closing most of my accounts due to repeated and unacceptable changes to my Certificate of Deposit (CD) interest rate. I originally locked in my CD at 3.70% for a three-month term. Despite this, the rate has been repeatedly reduced. Last week it dropped to 3.44%, then to 3.22%, and as of today it has dropped again to 3.21%. These changes are occurring after the CD was locked and, in some cases, before the maturity date, which should never happen. To be absolutely clear: if a CD is locked at 3.70%, that rate should remain in effect for the entire three-month term. Each time I renew, the rate is lowered, and in multiple instances the rate has changed prior to maturity. This is misleading at best and potentially deceptive. I want to note that the staff at this branch—particularly the women I have interacted with—have been courteous and professional. However, courtesy does not excuse what appears to be a serious issue with how CD rates are being handled. I have already closed two accounts and will remove all remaining funds from this bank if this issue is not corrected immediately. For my own protection, I have been taking screenshots of my account showing the rate changes, and I will continue taking screenshots daily. I have clear documentation demonstrating that the rate continues to drop despite being locked. If this matter continues unresolved, I am prepared to escalate this issue by filing formal complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and any other appropriate regulatory or investigative agencies. I expect full transparency and a written explanation as to why my locked CD rate has been altered. I am requesting immediate correction of my CD rate to the originally agreed-upon 3.70%, or a clear written explanation as to why this is not being honored. Failure to resolve this promptly will result in the closure of all remaining accounts. Sincerely, Travis Scott McEntire So I went into the bank and explained why I was so mad I wanted monthly record they could not provide it. I literally have seen my interest drop before the term has matured . I closed my 2 savings accounts. When my CD mature I will take every thing out to a different banks. Another thing that really pissed me off I told them a few days ago I am going to close all my accounts. I had some lady call me today and try to explain to me how CDS work I know how they work I know that the interest can change after the term . However your bank is changing the interest before the term is over I am taking screen shot daily on my account. I found another bank where I lock my cd in for a year a 4 % you cant offer me that. I go where I make more your bank is not the one very poor customer service and I like the old manager you had but he is not there anymore!

I walked in to set up an account and safety deposit box. Everything was taken care of, no big bank appointment needed! They even get your ATM card made while you wait. What a wonderful experience with these folks. Good old fashioned customer service!

It was nice to open a bank account again but with as many issues I have dealt with is not worth to continue to bank with them. Let alone no 24 hour service and your available balance is not cause online banking is slow and stupid to put it nicer.
