We used Foothills Bank for our construction-to-permanent loan. The construction phase went smoothly for about a year, but our experience significantly declined when we decided to refinance our permanent loan.
There was ongoing miscommunication between us, our loan consultant, and the title company. At one point, our loan consultant asked who our mortgage company was—even though we had been working with her for nearly two years. We were also told multiple times that we would not owe a mortgage payment in December, yet the December payment was still withdrawn from our bank account.
At our title signing, we were unexpectedly told we needed to bring money, despite being assured by Foothills Bank that we owed nothing. Our paperwork also included a late fee, even though we had never missed a payment. We later learned the late fee was for December, even though the documents were printed in November—four days before the payment was even due and during a month we were told we owed nothing.
Additionally, my husband’s name was misspelled on multiple documents during the signing, causing delays while paperwork had to be reprinted.
Although the incorrect mortgage payment and late fee were reimbursed at closing, we were very disappointed to learn just two weeks later that Foothills Bank sold our loan to another company with extremely poor reviews. After all the confusion and disorganization we experienced, this was frustrating and discouraging.
Based on our refinance experience, I would not recommend Foothills Bank for loans.

Being a business owner I’ve had multiple bank accounts, after dealing with foothills they quickly surpassed my expectations and have always been readily available to help me. I soon switched all my accounts to Foothills! Thank you Deanna!

I really researched all of the banks in Prescott because of issues I have had at another bank in town. Foothills looked and sounded like the bank I was looking for. It reminds me of the bank in the little town I grew up in. Everyone is friendly and always have time for me whether it is a quick question or want to open an account. I have been there a month and they have already gone above and beyond my expectations. I love that I dont regret having to go to the bank like other banks I have used. Always a pleasure.
