I went to this location this morning 7/1/25 (around 9A something, it had just opened)
to cash a check and had the weirdest experience.. so I walked in and there’s a like person who greets right.. well he goes “good morning how can I help” I was like “good morning just here to cash a check” and he goes “can I see the check” which I thought was weird bc since when do they ask but like ok .. so I opened it from the envelope and he slightly chuckled and says “oh just $200” and I was like yea .. he looks at the check front and back and goes “do u even have $200 in your acct” I said “yea” and he goes “well (she) is busy (can’t remember her name maybe Gene?) but the other teller can help u once he’s done” .. like AS IF I DIDN’T HAVE EYES TO SEE ALL THIS AND AS IF I DON’T KNOW TO STAND IN LINE AND WAIT MY TURN like a normal person .. like duh what was the point of saying that..idk it was just weird and rubbed me the wrong way. Wasn’t necessarily what was said but the tone & how it was said. I only go to PNC occasionally bc my mom has an acct and I just needed to cash a check really quick but I won’t be back. Gave me the ick in a major way

Smaller banking corp to a larger one, but I stuck it out. Everything was going fine until today. I went to cash a check and was told something that was not correct. Whether it had been a misunderstanding due to poor drive through or what have you, what I was ultimately told was not ok. I was told several times by several different worker’s customer service and branch locations that they make a portion of the check available for them to use for fees on the account (which there are none) then I will see what ever is left of the portion that would be available this evening/night. Then the rest tomorrow. Also In addition christina was very sure of what she was saying then became sarcastic when I brought it to her attention that this evening and tonight were two different things . As a long time customer of bbva/PNC I am not satisfied. If this was going to be the case i could’ve just went back to mainstream banking. They get one star because of the choosing to not even attempt to assist with the communication issue and also for the managements lack of customer service.
