I had gone went thru the drive thru at 4:20PM today to deposit a personal check dated 12/17/25 into my checking account. The teller told me the check was too old and could not process it since it was from 2025. You normally have up to 6 months to cash a personal check. I've been with PNC for a long time but am considering banking somewhere closer to my house after this.
