However, this year my tax situation was *slightly* more complicated, so I needed some expert help after noticing that my refund significantly decreased after adding information from a form that should not have caused that much of a drop. I talked to two different “experts,” both provided incorrect information. If I had listened to their “expert” advice, my return would have been several thousand dollars less. Extremely disappointed. Otherwise, the software itself is generally helpful. However, these interactions have planted a seed of doubt, I will likely consider other tax software or a true professional in the future.
