- SHSarah HowellDec 28, 20231.0PNC has to be the WORST bank ever! I was with compass for 20 years. From week one, their policies are weird, insane, idiotic. You can ask 3 people at one bank and get 3 different aggressive answers. I closed my account after overpaying a loan balance with a cashiers check from my new bank. They said it would take 10 days to get my overpayment. It was 45 days. My statements did not make sense to an accountant and cpa. The people at the bank could not even understand the statements! I would make a CASH deposit to pay my note due the next day. They would hold my CASH deposit, run my payment through, then charge my overdraft account for the payment! Run from this bank!I discovered a large business pulled their 8 FIGURE ACCOUNT from this bank after their accountants could not get answers to what was going on with this banks policies and practices. INSANITY! Put your money in a coffee can.....at least you will know where it is. WATCH THE NEWS ABOUT OTHER INSTANCES CUSTOMERS OF THIS BANK HAVE ENDURED!
