  Do not use this bank if you want to cash checks or do anything had a check from world finance however, since our account was not open for a year, even though my husband‘s check gets deposited every week they still will not allow us to cash it so we had to drive all the way to Florence just to cash a check!! this is the worst bank ever

  I will update this once the situation is made right. The tellers at the muscle shoals branch called to verify a fairly large amount check to help expedite the long wait process for my first check. The teller at the issuing bank told her their was insufficient funds in my clients account. Instead of PNC's teller asking has the check already cleared since it was deposited the day before they convinced me the check was no good and said if you don't believe me call them yourself. I had not thought twice that they might not have asked has it processed through their account when they called the issuing bank. My client sent me a screenshot of the bank register where it cleared. I called PNC back at the muscle shoals branch asked for the lady I was working with the teller said she is on lunch. I went to explain my situation and she interrupted me and said sorry can't help you very rude and said but I'll take a message. I tried to speak again and she said SORRY I CANT HELP YOU I WILL TAKE A MESSAGE. NO ONE ever called me back (the first girl I delt with was very nice, just didnt make sure she was right on her information)and this is a freshly opened business account at that. Jeremy is amazing to deal with and his staff, muscle shoals not so much. At least at his store if they do not know the answer they will tell you sorry you will have to wait for my branch manager. I have high hopes that next week Jeremy will make this right, but stay away from muscle shoals branch. If Jeremy does make it right I will remove this bad review maybe only because I don't want my negative comment to ruin his store otherwise I wouldn't care because at the end of the day their work may have lost me a customer.

  This bank has been terrible to deal. I got a loan from this bank when they were compass. They would always get my payments wrong or put my payment in somebody else's account. Lucky the had one person who knew what she was doing and got it right. Since they switch to pnc it hasn't gotten any better. I wouldn't recommend this bank or any other pnc bank. Some of the staff are friendly and even say that since they switched to pnc it's been a mess. I'm not the only one who I have heard say bad things about pnc. There are other really good banks by that are better.
