We have mildly complex returns with a small business and an LLC but have never had an issue with responses or lateness (honestly, they are usually patiently waiting on us to submit our records). The advice Ryan has given us over the years has been very helpful, allowing us to take full advantage of the credits we qualify for - something that our last big-name firm failed to do. We also know folks that work at this firm - they are a family-friendly, Alaskan-owned company - and it means a lot to us to have that hometown relationship.

I followed up with call on February 22, 2022, and requested to speak with another tax specialist, explaining my previous experience, and was only offered to leave a voice mail for another person. I am an Accountant that works in corporate, and has the maturity to understand that a timely return phone call, if only to set a future time and date is the responsible thing to do.
