- SWSteve WilsonMay 8, 20193.0I am a lifelong member of this denomination. I have attended many different "wards" over the years. I am disappointed to report a noticeable decline in friendliness and in what used to be a "welcoming " attitude. I find this to be widespread regardless of geography. Others I have spoken to mention similar experiences. Is is because of our age? At nearly 70 yrs my cohort are no longer "the cool kids". I get that but it is a little surprising a Christian religion exhibits ageism.
