Never been in the chapel, but spent hours of my childhood waiting there to meet family for hunting trips. Back in the 60's and 70's I had a Great Aunt Viola who lived in her ranch across the street and up a dirt road from the chapel. We always had to sneak through her gate and haul butt up the rough dirt road past her house because if she caught you on the way in she would delay your hunting trip for hours with chores while she talked your ear off. We always tried to get in and hunt, knowing that on the way out we would have to stop and pay the "toll". She was an amazing tough lady. There was still the remains of the original cabin she and her husband built and lived in for years, way back on the property. Her ranch was huge, some of it crossing the Utah State line, but mostly in Wyoming. Then oil was discovered and Evanston boomed from a tiny town with a lumber mill to the city it is now. When Viola died, we were too far removed as relatives to be in line to inherit anything but man do I wish I could share the adventures we had then with my kids today. You can't go back again, sadly..
