- ASAubrey SchrammMar 6, 20205.0Our kids have been attending the Champions after-school program at Bay Harbor for the last 2 years. We cannot share enough positive things about the program. The leaders for the program are engaging, positive, and fun! The program is housed in a classroom at the school. They also utilize the gym and go outside to play. We are very thankful for the leaders’ energy and engagement with the kids. When we enter the room for pick-up, there are always multiple activities going on for the students to choose from. The cost of the before and after school program is affordable and the location (within the school) is uber convenient. Snacks are provided....and let me tell you, our son won’t leave without the snack! He also begs to stay when we arrive to pick him up, so we have a hard time turning him down and often make arrangements to come back later or have the other spouse pick him up on their way home. It’s also important to mention that our daughter has Type 1 diabetes and celiac disease. The leaders are proactive in checking in with her to ensure her blood sugar levels are safe and call/text whenever questions arise. They also have some gluten-free snack options for her, when needed. Champions at Bay Harbor rocks! Thank you for offering this option for parents who work outside the hours of the school day!
