  Charis counseling was very responsive in getting my daughter in for an appointment quickly. My daughter absolutely loves Megan! She feels as if she has really helped her understand some of the struggles she is currently facing. The only negative I would say is Charis’s billing practices. They charge $140 if you process the charge through insurance and only $85 if you pay cash. This is the case even if insurance does not cover (like if you have yet to meet your deductible). However, they don’t tell you or send a bill for 3 months, so while you think insurance is covering they’re actually charging you an additional $55 per visit. I had asked more than once for an estimate and was not given a straight answer. In the end my request for cost adjustment was denied. I feel taken. Was this a gimmick? It pains me to think they were more focused on profit than helping me help my daughter when she needed it most.
