Our child has been enrolled at this center for over 2 years now. I can't recommend it enough.
The space is well-designed for kids--there is plenty of room in the classrooms for all the kids, everything is kept clean, organized, and well-maintained, and there are kid-sized bathrooms attached. The design encourages kids to develop independence in doing things for themselves--washing hands, getting dressed for water play, cleaning up after meals, etc.
The menu shows that Chef Alejandro clearly puts thought into what foods are good for kids, what will expose them to flavors and ingredients from different cultures, what foods they will like, and even what is seasonally appropriate. I see very careful accommodations made for all kinds of food allergies and restrictions in different classrooms. The only complaint I've heard (from another parent) is that it is hard to provide enough protein for a vegetarian diet without relying too heavily on processed meat substitutes. The center has to balance a wide range of factors into its meal planning and we've been happy with what they've done throughout our time.
The teachers and staff set this center apart for us. In each of the three classrooms our child has been part of, the classroom teachers have been kind, patient, willing to meet kids where they are, and excited to help the children learn new things. They are generous with their time and always willing to take a few minutes when they can to discuss our child's development, ongoing projects in the classroom, or the events of the day. The staff provide a comforting through-line for the children as they transition from one classroom to another: everyone knows the kids by name, says hello and goodbye, celebrates wins, and helps when they see it is needed.
The curriculum is fantastic. The children are learning so much more than letters and shapes. They learn to be curious about how things work. They learn how to calm their emotions, how to ask for help when they need it, how to care for themselves and others. I have been to birthday parties for these 3- and 4-year olds where all the adults (including the instructors) marvel at how the kids are all so kind to each other and great at following instructions.
I can absolutely see how it can be frustrating for some parents who are waiting for a spot at this center, which has been at 100% capacity for awhile. We went through similar frustrations with the enrollment manager before we got in. I can at least give some assurance that once we got beyond that process, we have not regretted or begrudged a single tuition payment. The quality of management at this center shows through in the culture of appreciation and responsiveness we see. These teachers spend 8+ hours every day outnumbered up to 10:1 by 3- and 4-year olds. The low turnover and the continued patience and enthusiasm we see every day shows that they are doing a lot of things right here.

We paid the waitlist fee, waited TWO YEARS, and never made it off the waitlist. We had to chase down the enrollment manager multiple times to get an update on our status, and when we did manage to get a response she was vague and unhelpful. The only time she reached out to us proactively was to inform us that we would be removed from the waitlist if we didn't continue to request to stay on it.
I'm guessing we never made it off the waitlist since we didn't have the corporate priority that lets you jump the line. If they never admit anyone that doesn't have this priority, they should not be charging the waitlist fee to start with.

I submitted an application to Bright Horizons over a year ago and paid the $150 application fee. At the time, the admission manager was very responsive with emailing and following up regularly when I was still deciding whether to submit the fee. Unfortunately, that level of communication completely disappeared once I paid.
Throughout the year, I emailed multiple times to check on availability and possible enrollment. Each time, I was told they weren’t sure and that they typically only know a couple of months in advance of a child’s anticipated start date. After that, I received no follow-up, no updates, and no communication from her even as the anticipated start month approached.
After waiting a full year with no offer of a spot, I followed up again to ask how many families were ahead of us on the waitlist. The only response I got was “a handful,” which felt vague and unhelpful. At this point, it feels like the application fee is being collected with little intention of providing clear or consistent updates to families.
Overall, this experience has been incredibly disappointing. Families deserve transparency and communication, especially when planning long-term childcare. I hope they reconsider how they manage their waitlist and applicant communication moving forward.

We enrolled our child in this center for backup care in the preschool classroom and had a deeply troubling experience. Our daughter was new to this center and was clearly struggling with the transition, which is developmentally normal. She had a biting incident—an age-appropriate behavior that requires guidance and support, not shame or dismissal.
Instead of helping her adjust, the teachers treated her as a problem. When we arrived early to pick her up, we witnessed other children ganging up on her while the staff did absolutely nothing. I had to intervene myself to stop it.
The center failed to create a safe, nurturing environment or meet our child with the understanding and support every preschooler deserves. The entire experience felt more like punishment than care. We left feeling heartbroken and disappointed. I would not recommend this center to other families.

My child has been enrolled here for the past 6 months, and I am very pleased to say, this is a wonderful place with the most kind and loving teachers, and extremely helpful administration. My child is very happy, well taken care of and learning so many new things in a warm and cheerful environment. What more can one ask for! Thank you, Bright Horizons!
