  Some of these reviews are concerning to me. I am a two tour combat veteran and after initially being turned away, and after spending many hours over the course of more than a week, was finally signed up. I've been homeless for almost three years. I was living in my truck with my wife for more than a year, until our truck was stolen. The wounded warrior project did help me with a hotel room for a couple weeks and gave me a gift card to Walmart. Both were very appreciated but I was told that after that they would be unable to help me any further as help was a one time deal. Since they have made it impossible to contact anyone and no one replies to my calls or emails. I'm still struggling to protect my wife and get back on our feet after our landlord used my service for this country to get resources for himself during Covid then evict us as soon as he was able. She was a school bus driver and lost her job due to Covid, the Snohomish veterans resource center gave our landlord $14,000 twice so he could evict us and told us we could not be assisted because their assistance to our landlord was more than they could do and that we could not be assisted by them anymore. So long story short companies like this and people like our landlord they all profit from the donations of millions of people to help veterans but that help NEVER actually goes to the veteran. It ONLY goes to other people while we vets end up homeless and alone. That year we were sleeping on the sidewalk in the rain they actually held a vigil for homeless vets that have died on the streets. What a joke! And people keep throwing money at places like this while people like myself and my wife, we are good people, are left forgotten and alone. At least we have each other and we have God. But shame on you and others like you. God is watching... That's all we have left now.

  A visit with a Vet who returned from Aphganistan with no legs, received a cheap nylon bag with socks in it!! Talk about an insult. We receive sooo much wasted mail from this organization, money could actually be spent "ON" our Veterans.

  If you are not a member or a vet you should not rate this. I give 5 stars because I was able to Golf Chambers Bay, without them it never would of happened.
