- KLKatheryn LaneMar 24, 20261.0For years we have been very friendly towards the elders when they stop by our home. That said, on numerous occasions now, we have politely asked them to stop coming by as we (mostly my husband) have remained dedicated to going to a different church. Typically they won’t reach out or stop by for awhile. That said, just last month I mentioned to the elders that we would be going to the same church and for them not to visit with us. But for some reason, they stopped by the other day and again today! At this point, I have to say that we will file a harassment suit if the elders do not respect our wishes and continue to come by unannounced and uninvited.
