Called in having some questions earlier- I work with homeless mothers population. As soon as they figured that out the tone switched to nasty , rude and dismissive.

This place is AMAZING. My daughter started coming at 4 months old and I was so scared to leave her (she is now almost 11 months). Within minutes of walking out, I started getting pictures and messages. They knew it was hard for me and they did a wonderful job. The teachers do so many activities with the kids from singing and dancing to painting and doing crafts. I can tell how much they love her. Since the addition of the new director, Brenna, the center has gotten EVEN BETTER (if you can believe it). She is a ray of sunshine and I can tell how much she cares about everyone there including the staff and kids! She is so kind! Sheri, Melissa, Lulia and Mariana are all so great too as the primary caregivers of our baby girl. She has blossomed and grown so much being there and it's honestly been a huge relief to see her hit these major milestones. We've also met so many other parents and they do great events so we can all interact. I always know what is going on with our baby and feel so confident in their abilities! 5 stars ALL AROUND! (BTW, we toured the KinderCare up 2 blocks first and it was night and day between the staff, state of the playroom and cleanliness.)

We used Bright Horizons as back up care and originally we really loved the care. My view completely changed after what happened next. The following week, she returned to her normal daycare and then they noticed spots on her and she was subsequently diagnosed with Hand Foot and Mouth disease. Which, fine, it's super contagious and she's a baby, so I understand these things happen. I did the responsible thing and called Bright Horizons to report our case as soon as we left the doctor's office. They told me they already had a confirmed case earlier that week, so tell me why my family wasn't alerted or notified?? This would have prevented us from a possibly infecting to the babies at her current daycare.

I opted for a backup care for my 10mo. As a parent I opted for bright horizons thinking that my child would receive the best care. Unfortunately I am highly disappointed with the quality of teachers they have. The lead teacher I would say is good, experienced and interactive. But the others especially some of the support teachers I met and observed are just expressionless, immune to crying kids and least interactive. They just follow a protocol, no feelings nothing. With the name bright horizons have, as a parent I really expect something better from them in terms of understanding and handling toddlers.
