  I’ve been a member at YMCA Mel Korum for several years, but the pool deck floor is extremely slippery. Both of my kids have slipped while walking there, and I’ve personally experienced it a few times as well. Even the swim coaches agreed that the floor is slippery, and over the years I’ve seen many people lose their footing. I reported this to the front office, but was told they don’t plan to make improvements because there haven’t been official accident reports. Their solution was just drying the floor, which doesn’t really fix the problem if the surface itself is slippery. Membership fees have increased several times in the past year, yet I haven’t seen improvements to safety. I hope management takes this issue seriously before someone gets seriously hurt.

  Would probably give 4.5 stars if that was an option. Biggest issue is cleanliness - the locker rooms are often dirty/wet. Especially for the price I would expect a higher level of attention to the dressing areas and bathrooms. Otherwise we have loved coming to the Y for several years now. Our daughter enjoys the many programs they have for small kids and we appreciate the facilities, including the track and pool.

  Paying rising membership fees just so i cant bring my wife to workout with me. they have eliminated the guest passes for anyone you want to bring with you. YMCA has gone downhill bigtime. Im considering LA fitness for cheaper and better service. We got "lucky" because a promotion was active when we went in to workout, we were so thankful to not have to pay the 20$ it would have cost her and we only spent 26.5 minutes at the membership desk so they could sign her up for a FREE 1 TIME USE GUEST PASS! I mean WOW how lucky of us!!

  There should be a rule....Pick up the phone on the third ring regardless what department you are in (Gymnastics, Aquatics, etc.). Why even bother having a main line or a phone contact when no one answers. Busy?! Please! What Bull! That would save the business some money and everything is e-mail as that's what they rely on. My clinic, kid's school, and other places I go to seems more reliable when it comes to communication. Simple task like this should be exemplified. Why even have 10+ staff with PHONES on their desk and no on answer?!

  Was harrased No one called them i caught them sneaking up to my vehicle in the bushes they decied to walk and peak my car no law enforcement was called to the private property where its a private health club because they seen my vehicle at a far distance that was reported in sumner for a flase misuse of 911 call accusing my vehicle of drugs not puyallup sumner so now they said they seen my vehicle and it was associated with drug use but they couldn't have seen the vehicle license plates....thats impossible i was parked on the side of basketball court they seen a white 100k range rover at a long distance in a parking lot full of cars and no way to read a license plate....thats pure targeted harassment he even saud if he sees me he plans on harrasing me wherever i go !!!! They are preventing me from doing my aquatic and physical therapy and asked for me to be tresspassed and then told me i had to leave the property after not doing anything wrong and the building and parking lot was full of people...so Lets file a lawsuit against puyallup police department for misconduct harassment and violation of privacy act and preventing me from seeking medical care and vehicle tamler and potentialattempted murder for loosing my lugnuts draining my oil oit of my vehicle breaking my window forcing it down and slashing my tires multipletimes and they are the common denominator for suspects...also lets file one against the ymca for the pstd anxiety and public embarrassment thua just cost me he called my vehicle a drug vehicle in front of children and parents and staff memvers i go there every single day and sharing my private information is illegal
