Also, some days when there is a basketball going on, along with having a kid in gymnastics class, there is no where to sit. The bench/ floor area near the court entrance seems to be for shoes and backpacks of the players - Such a bummer! Too bad I don't know how to add the pictures I took.! Smh

- ZOZorana O'ConnorFeb 22, 20261.0I had a VERY horrible experience speaking to Cece in membership today. I called due to an issue with my nationwide account as my mom added me to her membership back in November. I was not showing up in the nationwide system for another YMCA in Seattle and been dealing with this for several months. After providing the information to look my account up, I was then told that I was not able to be on my moms account as we don’t live together and that I should have signed up in Seattle as I am making it difficult on their end. When trying to explain what was told to my mom she cut me off and repeatedly kept telling me I should have signed up in Seattle. Then told me they can’t authorize membership accounts unless I go down there which I explain that I already went down there and NO ONE told us any of that. I was cut off repeatedly. I have never felt so dehumanized and treated so poorly. DO NOT RECOMMEND the Lakewood branch. The Seattle branch tried all they can do to help me but ultimately I had to call Lakewood and this unfortunate experience has left me with a negative view of the YMCA as a whole which is unfortunate.
