A Child’s Journey Montessori School’s program draws from several models of child development including the Reggio Emilia model to create an inclusive, child-led, emergent program steeped in the belief that children are strong, capable, creative thinkers who can explore their ideas in myriad ways.
Our philosophy is based in our belief that children are competent individuals who can construct their own meaning of their experiences. The teacher’s role is not to provide all the correct answers. Rather, the teacher provides the occasion for discovery and learning.

We have had our two boys here and they have done wonderfully, The teachers are amazing and care for the kids, we have been going here for nearly 5 years and we do think of them like family! If you are looking for a good Montessori then please check out A Childs Journey School. I can also give a really big round of applause on how well the school has done over the last 3 years during the begging, middle, and continuing through Covid. We will really miss all the people at the school! Our boys will be missing them as well.

- JOJess OJul 16, 20175.0My son who is now a 4th in the hi-cap program in our district had attended A Child's Journey from age 3 to pre-K and my daughter from 9 months old who will graduate this summer and stars kindergarten in the fall currently attends the school and we could not be happier with A Child’s Journey! We had looked at many places and when we found this one from my next door neighbor's recommendation. My children were immediately comfortable with the owner Linda who is outstanding and all of the amazing teachers and support staff who are incredibly caring, nurturing and loving and communicate with us about daily activities. It was such a smooth transition. They make fresh, healthy and yummy meals from scratch cooked onsite. I like the way the school is structured and the outdoor play area. It is a perfect balance of "home-ey" environment with still having a five star learning curriculum . Also, the extra curricular options such as soccer, dance, gymnastics have been awesome. Thank you very much for keeping my children happy, safe and well cared for I am so grateful for you all ❤️
