- JEJason EwellFeb 17, 20265.0I was able to go through this temple last week with my wife and 3 children (and my oldest daughters 2 missionary companions). To summarize- my oldest daughter is serving a mission in Tacoma Washington and my youngest daughter will be serving in Washington DC next month. So we got the special opportunity to go through the temple for the 1st time as a family when my youngest daughter went through for her 1st time. We live in San Clemente California and today my son left on his mission to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Soon all 3 of my children will be serving missions ranging from 18-24 months. The goal for members of this church is to get to these temples on a monthly basis. Sweet and special promises are made inside with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Oh BTW- when you see the missionaries out doing their work, please be good to them and think of how heartbreaking it is for them and their families to say goodbye at the airport knowing they'll be gone for up to 2 years. I just had that painful experience today and another coming next month. God Bless you.

- MBMathew BeanSep 24, 20245.0Beautiful grounds and a wonderful building. Only members of the church are allowed inside after the open house! Be sure to see it when you can. Temples are really great architecture and wonderful places of peace and learning and service for members of the church.
