- SWStephen WalgrenDec 28, 20215.0My granddaughter has been in champions since she entered elementary school. She was in the modified program when Champions re-opened and the program was ammended to assist kids in the in home remote learning shool shutdown because of Covid-19. Teachers worked with staff to help these kids with daily studies. My granddaughter was able to stay on task and catch up from time lost in early 2020 and was able to socialize with children her own age and as it turned out would have been in her class had school been open. This was a life saver for this young lady and we are thankful beyond words.
- JBJackie BockmanApr 22, 20191.0Tina is probably the most unprofessional daycare leader I’ve met. She talks down to the children and speaks disrespectfully to children about their parents. Our personal family business was talked about in front of other children and then got back to my child. Tina did not protect my daughter’s innocence or care for her feelings. I feel the type of situation my family is in, my daughter deserved some more comforting and love. Tina did not provide that. In the past, Tina has also made comments to me about my work hours and saying like I needed to get there to pick up my daughter sooner because of whatever excuse she had at the time. Last week it was the school carnival, she said I would have no where to park if I got there “that late”. My daughter was picked up before 6 PM everyday. When I spoke to Erin, the area manager, she blew me off and did not follow through with my frustrations. Instead she found a “solution” to make ME more comfortable instead of focusing on my child’s needs. I was told I would get a phone call to follow up on the incident and I never heard back. As a single mother, I feel like the daycare providers I choose for my children should be loving and my children should know school/daycare is there home away from home. I would never recommend this company as a whole to anyone if this is the values they carry.
