- PMPaul MartinMar 20, 20235.0I was an LDS member in my youth and baptized at the Sterling Church. My family left the church and started going to an evangelical church. I still attend an evangelical church. I did love going to the LDS church in Sterling. I was a Cub Scout. I felth the spirit so strongly every time I walked through the doors. It felt like I was getting an electric shock while getting hit with a bat, but in an amazing way. I can honestly say I haven't felt that feeling so strongly since we left. Maybe it was the Church. Maybe it was that I got older and more cynical. Either way it was a wonderful experience.
