  This is one of the most amazing organizations in RVA. Their 8th Annual Holiday Helping hands event on 12/20/25 was fun, family-oriented celebration that provided toys to a staggering amount of community members in need! They know how to have fun, show up and do good work, and are truly some of the most caring and REAL people I’ve ever met. I love AOG!!!

  First and foremost, I want to start off by saying this organization could’ve done better at today’s event. It was a Christmas event which was very unorganized. Also, whoever the woman in the tracksuit was is a very rude Old lady and whoever the young man in a black jacket with the haircut that was walking around, he was not helpful at all. Neither was a lady with a short hair I’m guessing everybody that pre-registered got all the bad gifts and no one wanted and all the ones that registered the day of got all the amazing gifts. This is a pick and choose Organization they should be very ashamed of themselves. My child went in one of the bikes that was put up there and was unable to get it because I was told that the gifts chosen for me were already ready and the only people that can go up and get those type of gifts are the ones that did not register which seemed very unfair. I would not attend next year’s event definitely could’ve gone to a different event waste of time.

  This place definitely has favoritism on some people. I had pre-register long before anybody else and I receive toys for toddlers that are basically junk. I’d rather have not received anything at all of this is the tallies you guys were gonna give I seen the cutest power car and when I asked if I could get it, I was told those are for the people that are registering now they get to pick their own gifts and we had our gifts picked because we pre-registered very unfair. Not very nice at all. The lady in the tracksuit is a rude lady and the man with a short haircut does not care about anyone by himself. This was a disaster event. I legit sat the toys down by one of the tables and let whoever wanted to get them because why would you give me toys that Break easily and why would you not let everyone choose their toys there was many bikes and many power on vehicles and I feel like the first people that were there should have chosen what they wanted. I would definitely be doing reviews on every platform for this organization. I just feel like this is a scam organization that does this for just taxes purposes

  This place is an unfair and should be ashamed of them self. Yall can delete my ig post but not here . If you registered for toys, you will get lame toys. If you don’t register you’ll can get bikes ride on and better gifts no one wants dum boring games for Xmas . I give those useless toys away . Never sign up not worth it . You guys pick and choose who you want to give good gifts to I was there and I asked for one of the gifts that were put out and I was told no because I registered So therefore, there’s no point of registering if you’re gonna get Bad toys that kids do not like and play with be mindful that if you’re going to do a tow drive, make sure you make it fair for everyone and let everyone choose their own toys. Don’t choose for them.

  I would love to give a big thanks to the Atlantic Outreach Group. You all have most certainly given me a greater perspective as to what recovery truly is all about. While attending the program I received life changing tools in group settings such as trauma awareness and even day to day coping skills. I no longer question being alone in this fight towards recovery because I now know that recovery is a life long journey and not just a destination. Outstanding facilitators Mr.Moe Ms Aquila Mr Travis Ms Keshia you all are phenomenal. They take the proper steps when dealing with many different personalities not singling out individually and still taking care of business professionally that's deserves acknowledgement. You will all be missed and forever loved. I lost my brother towards the end of the program and needed time to clear my head Mr Moe gave me that time and allowed me to process my emotions. Job well done ! You are most certainly appreciated. When ever things got tight in the class room Ms Aquila gave us all a moment to clear out heads with fresh air . You are superb ! Thanks to Ms Keshia for always being so personable checking in to see how my morning was going despite my attitude. You are a true gemstone! I love you all for being a huge part of my story and I hope that God blesses each and every one of you guys for loving me when I needed it the most ! I highly recommend any recovering addict to give this place a chance . They have changed my life for the better! Bryant Goode , God Bless!
