  Acclaim at East Beach is an excellent Independent Living Experience. All the residents are very friendly and considerate of each other and make you feel welcome and part of the family. The entire staff are friendly and worry about each other and all the residents. Making your experience worth staying here. I looked at multiple Independent Living apartments before selecting Acclaim at East Beach as my location to move in and begin this new part of my life.

  Since moving my father In-Law to the Acclaim Independent Living Facility at East Beach was oone of the best things that we could have done. He is happy, Living Life Again and the Staff and facility is amazing. Thank you for Being there for him... Roger & Debbie Keown

  CLEARLY you had a Karen , legally known as Michelle sitting at the front welcome desk today BUT there was nothing welcoming about her! My family and I have been visiting my mom, my kids grandma there for years now and NEVER has anyone taken issue with our getting a cup of water as we EXIT !! Today at approximately 3 pm we got water as we were leaving AND Michelle says loudly “ Alrighty then AS IF SHE HAD a problem with black peopke getting a cup of water ! She was the most rude/racist individual that we’ve ever run into at that front desk and if you’re going to have ppl like her REPRESENTING Acclaim at East Beach then I’m going to tell my brother who’s a Doctor to STOP referring his patients loved ones to this place !!!

  My family and I had a very disappointing experience with the receptionist, Michelle. As we were leaving and stopped to get some water from the lobby, she looked at us, shook her head, and said “alrighty then” in a dismissive tone. Her demeanor made it seem as though guests were not welcome to use the water, and the way she acted came across as unprofessional and potentially discriminatory. Someone with that attitude should not be working as a receptionist, let alone in a place that serves seniors who deserve kindness and respect.

  Acclaim hosted a public Mother’s Day Tea and I sent my mothers and their friends over to check it out. For 4 ladies, aged 70+ who moved to Va from out of state recently, your community event gave them a wonderful outlet to relax, feel pampered, and laugh with new friends. I can’t thank Jennifer and the Acclaim team enough for hosting such a lovely event for the whole community.
