High Country Services in nestled in the beautiful city of Galax VA. The facility is located at the intersection of Glendale Road and Valley Drive. Newly built in 2007, our funeral home offers a spacious lobby and hallways, beautifully decorated visitation rooms, each equipped with wall mounted 40inch flat screen tv for displaying Memorial DVD’s, and handicapped accessible bathrooms. Our 1900 sq. ft Chapel seats 150 comfortably and is appointed with state of the art audio and visual equipment. It is beautifully decorated with soothing colors and comfortable seating. There is also a grand piano for musical accompaniment. Our outdoor facilities include a large, well lit parking lot with ample parking for our families’ convenience, soothing water feature, and well maintained landscaping. We have the distinct honor of being the only on-site crematorium in the Twin County area. That distinction allows us an unparalleled opportunity to serve our families that chose cremation here in our own facility. This means that your loved one is cared for by our very own staff, no additional transportation is needed and care is uninterrupted.
