I never thought I would have to do this so soon after my parents. These arrangements were even more difficult because it was unexpected and so sudden and for a dear brother in law. I reached out to Everly via email and was connected with Ashley and she responded right away. Although these arrangements were delayed she and Andrea worked me through it all from beginning to the end. Everything was beautiful and perfect for my brother in law. This was hard for my sister and her family and I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. My sister and her family did not have to worry about anything. Thank you Everly.

They gave us a good service; they explained everything to us. We were very sad and nervous but they helped us understand and go through to the process. Thank you Everly!

We are deeply grateful to Everly Funeral Home for their compassionate, kind, and thoughtful care in handling our mother’s funeral arrangements. From our first meeting, Ashley and her team guided us with such gray and sensitivity during an incredibly difficult time. Every detail was handled with professionalism and respect, allowing us to focus on honoring and remembering our beloved mother. Their warmth and attentiveness gave our family great comfort, and we will always remember the dignity and care they extended- not only to our mother, but to all of us. Thank you, Everly Funeral Home, for helping us through this moment with such compassion.

Angel King and her team are wonderful. They helped me though a very difficult time, they took responsibility for notifying all the appropriate government agencies and helped plan a wonderful memorial service at Everly, that expressed how special my husband was. He was a retired Marine and they facilitated all the paperwork and contacts for his funeral at Arlington National Cemetery. They’re still providing support to me as we approach his funeral. I can’t say enough good things about Angel and Everly Funeral Home.

Frequently Asked Questions About Everly Community Funeral Care

What is the purpose of embalming?

Embalming sanitizes and preserves the body. Embalming makes it possible to lengthen the time between death and the final disposition, allowing family members time to arrange and participate in the type of service most comforting to them.

Does a dead body have to be embalmed, according to law?

The Federal Trade Commission says, "Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial."
