  Open and airy meeting area. Receptionist and other staff people said hi and addressed the resident by name. There was a musician who performed and encouraged participation. Residents joined in familiar songs. I rest room available for guests was very clean.

  I had an interview here and must say it is a very beautiful place inside and out. During my interview and walk around everyone I seen and spoke with was very warm and welcoming.

  The staff was friendly and helpful, activity was engaging the residents. While overall initial visit was difficult for me to make, I am glad I did and see how well care the folks were taken care of! Impressed with what I could see.

  As a community partner, I’m consistently impressed with the team at The Blake at Charlottesville. Tamika at Concierge is warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Carol, the Activity Director, brings creativity and joy to every event, keeping residents engaged and happy. The nursing team — Amanda and Michelle — are compassionate, attentive, and dedicated to excellent care. Heather, the Sales Director, is professional, supportive, and truly committed to guiding families through the process. Sheri in the Business Office is always helpful and quick to answer any questions I have. Cordell, the Dining Services Director, consistently serves up great food, and Rick, the Maintenance Director, keeps the building in excellent shape. I love partnering with this team!

  Visiting this community, I was impressed with how friendly the staff was and how happy the residents seemed. This, along with the cleanliness and quiet/peaceful atmosphere was remarkable compared to other assisted living communities I have been to. Great job!!
