As someone mentioned in one of the reviews PLEASE Do your research in this school. This school should be shut down. There was a recent violation in November 2025 that showed a teacher was observed on video camera pulling a child's arm and dislocating their elbow. The below report was taken out of the Virginia Department of Social Services which anyone can view online:
Standard #:8VAC20-780-340-ADescription:When staff are supervising children, they shall always ensure their care and protection.
On 10/28/2025, staff #1 grabbed and pulled on child #1 (age 3 years) arm and dragged them approximately 18 feet because the child was touching a chair that was close to their cot. Child #1?s left elbow was dislocated as a result of the incident and was observed crying.
Plan of Correction:Staff received additional training on Heath & Safety, Teacher sensitivity and understanding of Nurse Maid's Elbow to ensure safe and appropriate physical interactions with Children.Standard #:8VAC20-780-400-BDescription:REPEAT VIOLATION
Behavioral guidance shall be constructive in nature, age and stage appropriate, and shall be intended to redirect children to appropriate behavior and resolve conflicts.
Based on video footage obtained from the center, on 10/28/2025, child #1 (age 3 years) was observed moving a chair that was against the child?s cot while the class was waking up from naptime. Staff #1 was observed saying ?Hey hey, what are you doing? Go back to your bed [child #1], stop moving the chair. On your cot. On your cot!? Child #1 was observed quickly laying down on their cot once staff #1 started to approach the cot. Staff #1 was observed saying ?You think it?s funny? You don?t want to sit there and think it?s funny? Come with me, get up. Get up.? Staff #1 was observed lifting child #1 by their left forearm from lying on the cot to a standing position. Staff #1 was observed telling child #1 ?Walk. Walk. Walk. Let?s see how funny now. It?s funny now?? as child #1 cried.
Plan of Correction:Staff will complete refresher training on Positive Behavior Guidance, Conflict resolution and Age appropriate redirection strategies by December and new hire orientation will now include training on constructive, age appropriate guidance & redirection technique

We are truly amazed by the team at Children’s Lighthouse of Chantilly for their dedication and hard work in making our son feel comfortable and at home.
A special thanks to Miss Rashmi, Miss Mary, Miss Aarzo, and Miss Nikita — they always come up with thoughtful plans tailored to each individual child’s needs, understanding that every child is unique.
The staff is very welcoming, caring, and professional. While there’s still a little room for improvement, I’m confident the team will continue to grow and bridge those gaps soon. We’re very happy to have found such a nurturing environment for our son! 💛

We are so pleased with Children’s Lighthouse! Our daughter is learning so much— academically and socially. We love the daily updates and pictures from her teachers. Ms Deepti and Ms Neha are both caring, supportive and always make our daughter feel safe and welcomed. The center is clean and the learning spaces are child centered. We are happy we chose them for our PreK year!
