We have been with Bright Horizons for almost 8 years now, sending all 3 of our kids here. We have been through change in administration but have noticed much more stability over the last 1-2 years and much better teacher retention since the pandemic. We have really enjoyed the high quality care and curriculum they provide at Bright Horizons. Our kids love going to school and love their teachers so much, especially Mrs. Layal, Mrs. Pilar, Mrs. Davina, Mrs. Janet, Mrs. Aniyah, Mrs. Jehan, Mrs. Meriem. I am so appreciative of the cleanliness of the center. I work in healthcare, and notice that they have high standards which in turn reduces illness/sickness, whereas other friends’ who are at other centers or in home often get sick. In the recent snowstorm, we were so lucky the center was still open, putting staff in a nearby hotel to allow working parents to still work and have their kids taken care of. They do not follow APS schedule so the kids are always covered with childcare except for federal holidays. Another pro for Bright Horizons is their food, which was a big factor when choosing between daycare options. They teach the kids about healthy plates, healthy eating, and provide a lot of variety in their menu options - we as parents joked that we would want to come eat lunch there! Unlike other places who primarily feed ‘kid friendly food’ like Mac and cheese and chicken nuggets, our kids are introduced to many flavors and our kids eat anything because of that! I drop my kids off every day, trusting the entire staff to care for my kids, and know they are loved just as much as they are at home. Thank you for providing exceptional care to our kids in this community.

Our family has been at Bright Horizons Ballston for three years now and continue to love it. We initially chose it as the "easy" option - very close to our home, all meals are provided, open every day except Federal holidays. We stay because of the high quality of care our two kids receive. The Bright Horizons curriculum has instilled a love for music, reading, and numbers in our two kids. It is all balanced with a great deal of fun, and we appreciate that they have a private playground and two dedicated indoor multipurpose rooms for cold weather play. Our kids have an endless love for their teachers, and we've been grateful to have some teachers twice as our youngest ages into our oldest's old class. Shout out to Ms. Billie, Ms. Ebony, Ms. Victoria, Ms. Davina, and Ms. Erica. And because it's top-of-mind, I appreciate the dedication this staff has to remaining open regardless of weather. In our three years, they've never closed for snow - they will put some teachers up in the hotel down the street to ensure they are open. We appreciate the effort taken to be reliable!

I was in DC for a week long work event and used my employers back up care to get our daughter into this center. The staff and teachers were amazing. I felt so good knowing my daughter was being so well looked after.

Worst centre ever, my 14 month was here as backup care for 2 days. 1st day he was only there for few hours , second day he was there for 6 hours. After his second visit I noticed some bite mark on his right shoulder and some finger prints on his left side of body and arm.I called centre to know whether he was playing with children and something happened. They said he didn't Play with any kids as he was crying for straight 6 hours. They even called me from middle of my work to pick him up. My heart just breaks to see those marks on my little ones. And I'm 100% sure they were not there before his 2nd visit

Highly recommend. We have been sending our child here since the center opened, and have had a wonderful experience from the beginning. The director and staff are caring, dedicated, friendly, and responsive, and the teachers have created an invaluable experience for our child. Having been at other daycare centers, this one is as good as it gets.
