- SSSara5 days ago5.0My oldest started K-prep here at 4 yrs old before going to kindergarten after having previously been at a preschool that just ran with the school year 9AM-2PM and my middle child started here at 2 years old since we had to go back to work in office and needed longer and more reliable childcare hours. Both my kids love(d) going to Bright Horizons Old Town Alexandria. They love their teachers and their friends and everyone is so kind. We will also be sending our youngest here once our parental leave is up.

I was really nervous starting him at daycare so young but they take such good care of him and we get constant updates through out the day that sets my mind at ease.

His vocabulary has completely taken off, and his ability to communicate and follow instructions has improved so much. He also learned how to follow a routine, which has made our home life easier and more peaceful. The teachers have been consistently nurturing, patient, and supportive. They truly understand young children and know how to guide them with kindness. We’re very grateful for the care, structure, and encouragement they’ve given him. It’s a place that genuinely helps children thrive.

Otherwise, we would’ve stayed here for as long as possible! Everyone at Bright Horizons is so nice and welcoming. We especially loved Ms. Sam and Ms. Jina, who have become like family to us and to our child. These two are the best! We love this center so much and truly will come back with our kiddo to visit!

The teachers were kind and engaging, and the director was amazing and helped to ensure my questions were answered and I was prepared for drop off each morning. I received daily updates, along with pictures of what my son did each day. I highly recommend Bright Horizons to anyone looking for childcare.
