Take a moment to read opposing viewpoints from former members and not just what the current members/missionaries tell you. I'm not saying don't joib, but do yourself a favor and do your due diligence and dig deep and ask tough questions about the church's past. The people are great, but people everywhere are great, and what's good about the church is not unique and what's unique about the church isn't necessarily good.
