- JMJeremiah MaughanDec 28, 20255.0Travis, Paul and others there at Wheeler helped us navigate our mid-term pregnancy loss in 2023. Our kiddo was far enough along that we had to make special arrangements. One of the amazing things was the fact we were not charged other than the hard costs the mortuary incurred for outside services. When I thanked Paul Wheeler (owner at the time) for their labor being free he said (as best I can recall) "and it will stay that way so long as I'm in control." That made a difficult time for us more manageable. I know that Paul has since sold it so I'm optimistic the legacy of care and service continues.

My family lost our Dad and oldest brother 9 weeks apart last year. We were lost to say the least and Travis (Funeral Director) and every single member of the staff helped us navigate all the challenging moments while we were lost in grief. They answered all the questions and took care of the mechanics of what it takes put together a funeral. Now of course this is their “job” and while that is true, the staff at Wheeler Funeral Home did it with authentic kindness and compassion. We are still beyond grateful for their services and also their dedication and support during one of my family’s toughest times.
