The head of finance for one of the local towns told me that the Payson Temple designers submitted their initial proposed plans with all the upgrades they wanted to be reviewed. The finance team would normally go through and approve or reject things and request cheaper alternatives, but this time they were on vacation so everything was approved with no substitutions. I hear it put this temple $5,000,000.00 over budget and will never be done again. Everywhere you look the detail is stunning. I am blown away with the craftsmanship in stone work throughout.
