*By Appointment Only Monday through Saturday*
No matter your story, we welcome you to join us as we all try to be a little bit better, a little bit kinder, a little more helpful—because that’s what Jesus taught. We are a diverse community of followers of Jesus Christ and welcome all to worship here. We fellowship together as well as offer youth and children’s programs.
Jesus Christ can make you a better person. You can make us a better community. Come worship with us. Church services are held every Sunday. Visitors are always welcome.
Going to church here was nothing short of a nightmare. I had to teach Sunday School class every week and was put down for being a woman in a million different ways. A man whom they called a "high counselor" gave an entire talk about "Spinsters" during the main meeting one day. I was assigned home teachers who put me down for being single--that was their entire lesson in their one visit to my house. This reminds me of similarly degrading experiences in wards before this one: In a prior ward, a home teacher called me "prude" because I am chaste, in another prior ward, a home teacher spread completely unfounded rumors that he had slept with me (I was a BYU student, and this false rumor, if believed, could have had me expelled from grad school there), and in another prior ward, my abdomen was bloated one day when I attended Church, and a young male stopped me in the hall to say, "your stomach looks big" twice, to my face.
