Did not expect to asked to give feedback about the church but here we are
I had to think hard as my own spiritual journey hasn't always aligned with Mormon culture BUT the building in and of itself is 5 stars
I don't know when it was built BUT it looks new and kept clean (back in the day my dad actually cleaned it as his career)
Here's the thing, spiritually speaking--undecided
The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints doctrine: 5 Stars
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints focus on the family: 5 stars
Mormon culture: 0 stars, do not recommend
Mormon culture focus on the family= man works+woman must have and raise babies: 2 stars, proceed with caution
Mormon culture history: 0 stars.... learn from it so we don't repeat it
Mormon historical treatment of other races: 0 stars
Mormon historical treatment of LGQBT+ community: 0 stars
LDS family services therapists: 5 stars
LDS welfare system: 5 stars, government needs to take notes
I have a strong testimony and relationship with my my heavenly father, my brother and savior Jesus Christ and even when I tell the holy Ghost to shut up because I don't care he remains. I am very pro the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and have no reason to talk smack about the church, but the culture is no longer inline with the church doctrine....they take bits and pieces they like and then turn it into something it was never meant to be and think the more people they can convince makes it right
Example--marriage is for man and woman because we were ordered to multiply and replenish the earth
Doctrine: love they neighbor
Culture: gay marriage will destroy our marriages and ruin all families, we must do everything to stop it
I am very anti culture, pro gospel doctrine
The gospel is true, the people are human
